It's easy to say: 10 billion tonnes of salt. Together. On this planet. It is the Uyuni salt flat in the Bolivian Andes. The biggest mirror on earth. This is a must-see.

This is a place where, when it snows, they don't notice it; it could be defined as the hell of the hypertensive. If they tell us it's another planet, we believe it, convinced. There are more than 6 million people living in Lebanon and almost 3 million in Jamaica: the surface area of this place is similar to those two countries, Usain Bolt would have had plenty of space to train.

It is called the Salar de Uyuni, a geological wonder, an immense salt lake at an altitude of 3,600 metres, of course with its surrounding volcanoes, which forms a unique landscape, indelible sunrises and sunsets, flora and fauna necessarily adapted to the environment; a fauna logically scarce but where the presence of the pink flamingo stands out. The islands of the lake, such as Incahuasi (the island of fish), full of giant cacti, also stand out. And when it rains, it becomes the largest mirror in the world.

The Salar de Uyuni is located in the southwest of Bolivia, in the middle of the Andean mountain range. It is of course the largest salt lake in the world and we will have the opportunity to visit it with our host who will show us... salt, lots of salt. Salt hotels, salt houses, salt promontories. No one will ever be able to describe this experience as tasteless.
